Version 2.3.0 of GPSLogbook
is available on the App Store as a free update.
Log each of your steps. The app continues to run in the background, so that you can place a call, surf the web, or use any other app in the meantime.
You can ping your location to a server of your choice for having a life map to instantly share your location with your friends. Since app version 2.0 a free web service is available for the easiest use.
The saved waypoints can be viewed directly on the device on a Google map. n While logging you can even view each new waypoint on a live map.
After finishing your tour you can export the data in different file formats (KML, KMZ, GPX, or CSV) on different ways (e-mail, iTunes file sharing, Dropbox) and share with your friends or family.
GPSLogbook requires a GPS enabled device. For sending data by e-mail you need an internet connection (Wifi or cellular), same for the server ping feature.
For logging as a background process you need iOS4 or higher installed.
The app is available in English and German.
